Thermal Insulated Lime

Courtfield House

Grade II* Listed Refurbishment & Conversion, Trowbridge

Project Overview

We were appointed to deliver the drylining, fire ceilings and specialist thermal insulated lime plaster works at Courtfield House, the refurbishment and conversion of a Grade II* Listed Building in Trowbridge.

The historic fabric required a carefully considered, breathable approach to thermal upgrading, combining Pavatex woodfibre insulation and woodwool board with Baumit insulated plasters and Adaptavate lime finishes throughout. Fire-rated ceiling systems were installed to meet current compliance standards without compromising the character of the original building.

Working within the constraints of a listed structure, the project demanded close attention to detail and coordination with the wider conservation team to deliver a high-quality, long-lasting finish.

Scope of Works

Drylining and fire-rated ceiling installations to a Grade II* Listed building undergoing full refurbishment and conversion; thermal insulated lime plaster systems incorporating Pavatex woodfibre insulation, woodwool board, Baumit insulated plasters and Adaptavate lime finishes throughout.
